聚贤统计

北京师范大学统计学科发展已有着近百年的历史。早在1920年,北京高等师范学校(北京师范大学的前身)就面向数理部高年级学生开设了《统计学》专业课程。建国以后,北京师范大学的概率统计研究队伍在国内较早地开展了概率论与数理统计专业建设;1981年,北师大首批获得概率论与数理统计专业博士学位授予权;1988年概率论与数理统计被评为国家级重点学科;2014年,北师大整合数理统计和经济统计的师资团队,组建了统计学院。
The discipline of Statistics in Beijing Normal University (BNU) has a history of nearly a hundred years. Early in 1920, our predecessor Beijing Advanced Normal School set up the course Statistics for senior students of the Department of Mathematics. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, our research team in probability statistics pioneered in the discipline construction of Probability and Mathematical Statistics in China. In 1981, we were among the first institutions to confer the doctoral degree of Probability and Mathematical Statistics, and later in 1988, the discipline was recognized as one of national key disciplines. In 2014, the School of Statistics was established by integrating faculty from both Mathematical Statistics and Economic Statistics.
统计学院根据“大统计、跨学科、有特色”的学科定位,形成了经济统计与数理统计文理兼顾、协同发展的学科格局,在建设国内外一流的统计科学研究和高层次人才培养基地的道路上不断取得进步。在教育部第四轮学科评估中,北师大统计学科获评A类学科;2020年,北师大统计与运筹学QS国际排名位于151-200之间。
Guided by “big statistics,interdisciplinarity and distinction”, our discipline structure is balanced and coordinated by the co-development of economic statistics and mathematical statistics. Continuous achievements have been made in establishing the top-class Statistics discipline and the training base for high-level talents. During the fourth round of discipline assessment by the Chinese Ministry of Education, BNU Statistics was rated Class A. In 2020, BNU Statistics and Operations Research ranked between 151 and 200 according to the QS World University Rankings.
现根据学科发展需要,诚聘海内外优秀学者加入统计学院。其中,杰出人才、领军人才、拔尖人才及外籍教师不限额骨干人才2名
For further development of the discipline, we invite outstanding scholars at home and abroad to join us. Specifically, we are recruiting for the following positions: outstanding talents and leading talents, top-notch talents, high-level foreign faculty and key young scholars.

招聘人才层次与遴选标准
Positions and hiring criteria

1.杰出人才
Outstanding talents
对统计学科建设具有创新性构想和战略性思维,在统计学国际前沿领域取得具有重大学术价值的标志性、高水平成果,具有国际学术影响力的海内外著名高校及科研机构的杰出人才和著名专家学者,年龄原则上不超过60周岁。
The qualifications below are essential:
1)Innovative and strategic thinking for the discipline construction of Statistics;
2)High-level achievements with significant academic contribution to the international frontiers of Statistics;
3)Outstanding talents and world-renowned experts (from prestigious universities and research institutes at home and abroad) with international academic influence;
4) Age 60 or under in principle.

2.领军人才
Leading talents (two categories)
第一类:国家部委重要人才项目入选者;取得重大教研成果、获得国家部委重大奖励、主持国家部委重大研究项目者;或在境外知名高校任职并具有教授、副教授及相当专业技术职务者;或在本学科、相关领域与行业有显著影响力者。
Category I: at least one of the following qualifications is required.
1)Awardee of the key talent programs by national ministries and commissions;
2)Scholars with significant teaching or research achievements, major awards granted by national ministries and commissions, or principal investigator for research projects funded by national ministries and commissions;
3)Professor, associate professor or equivalent from prestigious overseas universities;
4)Experts and scholars with significant influence in their specialty, related fields and industries.

第二类:有潜力成为统计学科领军人才者;申报“长江学者”特聘教授、国家杰青进入最后一轮评审但未入选者;获得统计学科国际最高奖项或荣誉者;智库建设的领军人才和统计学科及相关行业急需的特殊人才。
Category II: at least one of the following qualifications is required.
1)Potential academic leaders in the field of Statistics;
2)Finalist of the “Yangtze River Scholars Program” distinguished professor, or finalist of The National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars;
3)Winner of top international awards or honors in Statistics;
4)Outstanding academic leader for think-tank construction and urgently needed special talent in statistics and related industries.

3.拔尖人才
Top-notch talents
国家部委重要青年人才项目入选者;或在境外知名高校担任助理教授职位者;或本学科、相关领域与行业具有影响力的特殊青年人才。
At least one of the following qualifications is required:
1)Awardee of the young talent programs by national ministries and commissions;
2)Assistant professors in world-renowned overseas universities;
3)Young talents with influence in their specialty, related fields and industries.

教研并重型高层次外籍教师每年须至少在校工作3个月,教学型全职外籍教师每年须至少在校工作9个月,具体遴选标准按照学校有关政策执行。
High-level foreign faculty responsible for both teaching and research shall perform their duties at a full-time basis for at least 3 months each year, and teaching-oriented foreign faculty shall work at a full-time basis for at least 9 months each year. The specific hiring criteria should be adopted as per BNU’s policies.

4.骨干人才
Key young scholars
在国内外知名高校取得博士学位,年龄不超过31周岁。在数理统计、经济统计、教育与心理统计、数据科学等领域成果突出,或统计智库建设急需的青年人才。
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
1)Received a doctoral degree from a world-renowned university at home or abroad;
2)Age 31 or under;
3)Achieved extraordinary research  outcomes in mathematical statistics, economic statistics, education and psychological statistics, data science and other fields;
4)Or urgently needed special talents in think-tank construction or related  industries.

Responsibilities

1.杰出人才
Outstanding talents
制订并参与实施学院学科发展战略规划;在国际前沿领域或围绕国家发展的重大战略需求,取得具有重大学术价值或社会影响的标志性、高水平成果,达到国际一流或先进水平,推动我校统计学学科发展;承担研究生培养及教学;扶持、培养中青年骨干教师。
You shall:
1)Formulate and implement the school’s strategic plan for discipline development;
2)Make remarkable and representative achievements with significant  academic
contribution or social influence in  international frontiers or fields related to the important strategic needs of  national development; and the achievements are  recognized as world class or advanced  level that are likely to promote the development of BNU’s Statistics  discipline ;
3)Undertake training and teaching for  graduate students;
4)Support and cultivate young and  middle-aged key scholars.

2.领军人才
Leading talents
参与制订和实施学院学科发展战略规划;为我校统计学学科建设做出突出贡献;主持国家级重大科研课题和社会服务工作;承担研究生和本科生培养及教学;扶持、培养中青年骨干教师;完成学院安排的科研、教学、社会服务、文化传承与创新和国际交流工作。
You shall:
1)Participate in formulating and  implementing the school’s strategic plan  for discipline development;
2)Make outstanding contributions to the discipline construction of Statistics;
3)Lead major state-level research  projects and social services;
4)Undertake training and teaching for  both graduate and undergraduate  students;
5)Support and cultivate young and  middle-aged key scholars;
6)Complete tasks assigned by the school, including research, teaching, social  services, cultural inheritance and  innovation, and international exchange.

3.拔尖人才
Top-notch talents
参与我校统计学学科建设工作;承担博士、硕士研究生培养及教学任务;参与制订学院学科发展战略规划;完成学院安排的科研、教学、社会服务、文化传承与创新和国际交流工作。
You shall:
1)Participate in the discipline construction of Statistics;
2)Undertake training and teaching tasks  for doctoral and master students;
3)Participate in formulating and  implementing the school’s strategic plan  for discipline development;
4)Complete tasks assigned by the school, including research, teaching, social  services, cultural inheritance and  innovation, and international exchange.

4.骨干人才
Key young scholars
参与我校统计学学科建设工作;承担博士、硕士研究生培养及教学任务;完成学院安排的科研、教学、社会服务、文化传承与创新和国际交流工作。
You shall:

选拔方式
Selection

面向海内外公开招聘。按照个人申请、学院审核面试与推荐、学校审核、学校人才人事工作领导小组审定和公示等环节,择优录用。
The recruitment is open to candidates both domestic and overseas on a selective basis. The process consists of personal application, interview and recommendation by the school, assessment by BNU, approval and announcement by BNU Talent Development Office.
